Free disposable email address. Lasts 24 hours, then the address and all its messages are deleted automatically. No registration.
Click "New Address" to get your first address.
Burner Email is a free disposable email service. It gives you a working, receive-only temporary email address the moment you open the page — no registration, no password, no personal details. The address accepts mail for 24 hours, then it and every message in its inbox are permanently and automatically deleted. Use it whenever a website demands an email address that you don't want to hand over: sign-ups, downloads, free trials, Wi-Fi portals, coupon codes, or one-time verification links. Your real inbox stays private and free of spam.
1. Your address is generated automatically when the page loads — just press Copy.
2. Paste it into any website that asks for an email address.
3. Incoming mail appears in the inbox above within seconds — the page checks automatically,
or press Refresh Now.
4. Read your verification code or confirmation link, and you're done. After 24 hours the address
self-destructs. Need another? Press New Address — you can keep up to 10 active
addresses at once, and your list is remembered by your browser if you come back later.
Classic disposable email services delete your address after ten minutes. That's often too short: confirmation emails can be delayed, and many sites send a second verification later in the day. A 24-hour lifespan covers delayed codes, double opt-in newsletters, and "we'll email your download link shortly" promises — while still guaranteeing that everything disappears within a day. It's long enough to be useful and short enough to be genuinely disposable. Read more about what temporary email is and when to use it.
Free forever — no accounts, no payments, no limits on receiving.
Instant — your address exists before you finish reading this sentence.
Private — messages are stored for a maximum of 24 hours, then wiped. Attachments are
never stored. See our privacy policy for exactly what we keep.
Anti-spam by design — give every website its own throwaway address and your real
inbox never ends up on a mailing list. More tips in
how to avoid spam.
Up to 10 addresses — run several sign-ups in parallel, each with its own inbox.
Is Burner Email really free?
Yes. Receiving mail on a temporary address is completely free, with no hidden tiers.
Can I send email from my temporary address?
No — Burner Email is receive-only. It's built for verification codes, confirmation links,
and newsletters, not for outgoing mail.
What happens after 24 hours?
The address stops accepting mail and every stored message is permanently deleted. Expiry cannot
be undone, so save anything important before the timer runs out.
Why was my temporary email rejected by a website?
Some websites block known disposable email domains. That's their policy and there is no workaround
on our side — use a long-term alias for those services instead.
Is using a disposable email address legal?
Yes. Using a temporary address is lawful; using any address to commit fraud is not. See our
terms of use.
